Self Referral
You can consult with a speech pathologist at The Speakery without a referral from a medical professional (self-referral).
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate for your appointments.
Please check coverage with your health fund.
Medical Referral
To access Medicare or Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) funding, you will need a signed referral from your GP or Medical Specialist prior to attending an appointment.
Please note, a specific referral for LSVT is available for DVA. This will ensure funding for the required number of sessions.

Communication partners can benefit from attending sessions with the client and may also wish to consult independently on how to best provide support and strategies to improve the success of interactions.
