The Speakery is a place,
physical and virtual,
of discovery and connection
built on a foundation of communication.
Dr Naomi Hartley is the principal speech pathologist (and chief visionary) at The Speakery.
Since obtaining her initial qualifications as a speech pathologist from The University of Queensland in 2000, she has pursued both clinical and academic pathways in Australia and The United States.
Throughout this time, her focus has been on adult motor speech disorders, vocal health, the integration of research into clinical practice and innovative approaches to university education.
Experiencing the health care system from the other side in recent years inspired Naomi to focus on how she could best bring about positive change in the lives of others.
The Speakery was born - a place of discovery and connection with communication at its centre.
